I am updating the CRM again.
CRM Plugin Update
I am also hosting the plugin at the WordPress.com site and all future posts. Any contributions to the update would be great.
I am moving all elements surrounding the crm away from cregy.co.uk and to cregy.info. It needs a separate site. It might be best to consider a totally different domain name.
After due consideration and financial and time costs I am unable to continue the development of this project at this point in time.
I am sorry that development stopped for a while but please read this post to see why. I have been trying to understand the best approach in developing this plugin further. Please feel free to comment and let me know.
Thanks.
I was wondering if you mind if my group and I take over development of the CRM plug-in. I talked to the guy you sited and he said he didn't care but I should ask you as well since you were not going to develop it anymore.
Hello Richard,
Your project seems wonderful. It is easy to deploy, and the plug-in is easy to understand and modify.
I was just wondering about the license of your code. I am considering creating a derivative of your work, or possibly even taking over it, as your plug-in seems a good base for a CRM plug-in that I am developing for our company as well. I'm considering releasing the derivative code with an Open Source License, preferably GPL. Do contact me about your thoughts on this.
Regards,
Ardee
Hi all,
A comment from a user here.
I see definate benefit to this plugin. As far as I can tel, there are a couple of CRM's developped as WP Themes, not not plugins, so this plugin is a godsend for me.
I need to intergate something into the backend of my WordPress site for my recruitment business.
I am using the "Jobs" plugin, which has a CRM-ish interface built in for candidates, but I need the clients end integrated too.
Also useful would be an import from outlook function.
Anyway, looking forward to anyone taking up the task!
